Used this phone briefly with a freepbx/pbxact system. Provisioning was no problem. Call quality was very good. For us the features aren't quite as tightly integrated for freepbx as a sangoma or yealink phone. If we were going to go whole hog with poly then Id do some finagling to make a directory work. I'd buy this phone again for sure though. It has a smaller footprint than the s705 sangoma and the yealink's we've tested that are a similar class.Product Quality 10/10Product Support 0/10 if bought on Amazon.5 Stars because the product is good. The support is nonexistent.Let me start by saying, I love Polycom products, especially as an MSP. Their products are simple and the quality is top notch. I believe Polycom phones in particular are a great tradeoff between quality and affordability. With that being said, Polycom has a very stringent warranty policy. If you're buying in bulk, I highly advise not buying Polycom phones on Amazon. As Polycom will not directly honor the warranty commitments. The Amazon Reseller is the only one with the authority (if they are authorized to resell polycom products to begin with) to initiate RMA procedures with Polycom Global. Here's proof:Hello Edward,Thank you for contacting Polycom Global ServicesAccording to our records, your system is under warranty only.Warranty support for your Polycom VVX 411 is provided by your supplier. Please contact them and provide as much detail as you can about the problem your system is experiencing. You should make sure you quote your system serial number when contacting your supplier for assistance. In the event of any equipment fault being confirmed, your supplier will be able to make arrangements for a replacement unit to be provided.Feel free to also browse the resources available to you (including our knowledge base, software and product documentation, and other useful information) on:Our Support Portal redacted as per amazon policyOur Support Forum: redacted as per amazon policyBest regards,ErikPolycom Global ServicesWith that being said, I've bought a lot of Polycom phones here on Amazon and I'm very nervous if something were to go wrong with them. I've already replaced a customer's bad phone out of my own pocket. --My ignorance for not reading Polycom's warranty EULA.I hope this review saves fellow Polycom users in the future.Moving from an analog set up to the VOIP set-up was major for our church. The system provider was able to assist me with use of phones, so that helped. All of the buttons work well, just can't quite figure out how to find a number which previously called the church. Since I have the phone system provider's app I locate previous numbers that way. I don't know how to call technical support for these phone.Amazon, If you can send me a number via our email address on file, that would be great.Works like it should. No problems so far. But how are you going to sell a product but not include the power adapter. Having to purchase the adapter separately is just a hassle. Other than that it works fine.Works very well for our HAM MESH network, with very clear voice quality over the air. Definitely performs better than another HAM's ATA device. Although not listed as including a power supply, mine arrived with one, thereby saving the cost of buying one separately. My one complaint is that this is a really big and hard to pack phone, with more features than needed for our MESH network. Even so, it works well, so is still our recommended solution for voice on MESH.Purchased this phone as a replacement for my failed phone. Product was clean but missing the base stand in the box. BJust as described. some of the features of the phone are a little annoying to access and use... call history, redial, placed calls.. things like that. but over all the phones are nice. Can't say as much for Vonnage Business's sales people telling stories when they set you up.. but that is another story and has nothing to do with the quality of these phones.. They're solidReceived the phone and it was in great condition. However it does does not come with a power cord. So you will need to order one.Haven't tried it out yet--- I am gonna upgrade my older model of Polycom phone because it does not have some of the newer features etc etc. The phone that I received looks beautiful except that it doesn't come with the power supply although they did mention you might want to buy that but I figured the power supply in the other phone in this photograph - a Polycommm---must fit as it's just a standard type of barrel plug-- but no of course it is possibly proprietary to this model a different shape just to get you to buy a stupid power supply which is quite a pain. i work in high tech and have gathered a collection of old 12 Volt adapters over the years and none of them would fit either so I have to wait another three or four days to try out this phone as I've purchased the SUGGESTED plug. So once again by the stupid adapter that comes with it and less you have a much more modern Polycom phone----------Voice quality is unbelievable. I would have put more space between the buttons. Otherwise, everything is perfect. VERY EASY to setup with FreePBX.No power cordPerfectoAs describe
