Unit came as described and works perfectly fine. For the same price as the OSMO usually goes for, the accessories that come in this bundle are a huge benefit. The star missing has to the do with the product itself moreso than the product as it comes from the seller, which I'll get into now:The OSMO Mobile for me is a really great tool for event coverage and B-Roll footage. It's small, portable, relatively light-weight, and convenient. It provides me a relatively inconspicuous way to get very stable looking footage without the bulk and attention that a DSLR stabilisation system has. And for the money, comparing the OSMO Mobile to competing solutions like the IKAN Fly X3 Plus, there's really no denying that the OSMO is more feature rich. The controls at your thumb and the features provided with the DJI go app are huge pluses... but they all come with a few distinct downsides...First major downside- if you're on Android you're currently unable to take advantage of most of the professional features in the DJI Go app for OSMO. You have no controls over ISO, White Balance, Exposure, etc... I'd recommend either going with the Filmic Pro app which is $10 and has been used in many major professional films shot using mobile devices, or the similar but more moderately priced Cinema FV-5 which you can usually find for around $5.Second major downside- are you concerned with the audio quality straight from your phone? Personally I'll be using this as a convenience and back-up system for doing pre-visualisation shoots, for event coverage, and for B-roll, all of which don't require stellar audio. If you are, however, intending to use this as an all in one system for major shoots where you expect to use the audio directly from your mobile device in the final edit (with no secondary sound syncing), check where your phone has it's headphone jack located. Is the headphone jack at the top, or at the bottom by the charging port? I have an S7 Edge, and my headphone jack is at the bottom... which makes it usable and inaccessible because the phone slides in bottom first into the clamp on the OSMO. If I attempted to put my phone in backwards, the phone's camera would be aimed straight at the balancing arm of the OSMO. So keep in mind what mobile device you're using, if you're using one with a headphone jack on top you will have clear access to external audio devices, if not, you're stuck.The third major downside- It's HARD to find a good case for the OSMO Mobile. The zipper bag that DJI includes with the system is a joke. The device just barely squeezes inside, and the soft fabric sides provide no support or protection for the device. The box the device comes in does an okay job at protecting the OSMO, as it comes with a hard foam interior specifically cut to fit your OSMO, but in order to balance the device for your phone you have to extend one of the support arms and tighten it down... which makes the OSMO no longer fit in the original box. You could loosen the screw, put the OSMO away unbalanced in its box, and re-balance every single day, but a cardboard box with no straps is still not an ideal solution. I ended up picking up a hardened foam case for around $35 which said it was designed for OSMO, and reviewers made it seem like it would fit the OSMO Mobile as well... it did not. The arms of the OSMO mobile fold outwards to be dramatically larger and longer than the original OSMO. The pre-cut foam inserts that came with the case did not fit. I ended up picking up some soft foam from my local craft storage, cutting it down, and lining the case with it. When zipped shut, the foam conforms to the OSMO, holding it in place, while cushioning it from mild impacts. It's not the best solution, but for the price was a good solution for me. Most of the cases you find aimed at DJI products tend to go into the $100+ range and are bulky, metal, reinforced things which are over engineered for a device that's meant to be all about portability and convenience.And a fourth downside, which will only come up in extreme cases- the OSMO Mobile tends to "jolt" if you twist it too far to the right. Because the OSMO Mobile has a "portrait mode" built in as one of the ways you can hold the device, if you're testing how much it can stabilise rotation in a normal grip, the OSMO has a tendency to want to try and flip into portrait mode if you twist too close to the edges of it's range. In most situations you won't be requiring your OSMO to compensate for such a drastic amount of rotation, which is close to 25-35 degrees off axis, but it is something to consider if you're intending to use the device in high intensity situations, perhaps for sports coverage where you'll be expecting to move the OSMO rapidly and at unconventional angles.All in all, great product, and a fantastic price for this specific bundle. My OSMO Mobile came with no issues whatsoever, the only problems I have are just specific to the product itself. If you're not concerned with any of the issues I listed, then this is definitely the bundle I would recommend.Gimbal stabilization is something that one does not fully appreciate unless you’ve used it. I am a sports photographer and have a 200 f2 and 400 2.8 and although can be done handheld, once you place them on a gimbal head, it’s truly revolutionary. Pro gimbal stabilization for video was thousands of dollars. For consumers with phones, they have been bulky or lacking in quality.I’ve used the original Osmo in the past and thought it was great. Got to borrow one and after a 2 weeks of use, I essentially stopped using it. I got tired/lazy on having to take video/photos to my desktop/laptop to share with friends and family. That step was just too cumbersome even though the quality was great.Smartphones have created unprecedented convenience and combined with social media, convenience will often trump quality. Hence the large decline in point and shoot cameras for Canon and Nikon. I think Osmo mobile is a very smart move for the company. Whether you have Apple or Samsung, iPhone or Galaxy, small or large, the Osmo will accommodate them all.I ordered via Amazon and it was shipped directly from Shenzhen, China via FedEx. Battery was mostly charged and it was topped off in an hour. Found the included paper material difficult to read since it was so small. Ended up downloading manual from DJI and read on my laptop.Placing the phone in the mount is easy as its secured via a twist clamp. If you use a phone case as most do, the size of your case can impact the clamp. I have an Incipio case and the phone in the case didn’t fit well into the grooves. There is an auto balance feature that didn’t work with the case. Taking off the case and everything went well.One needs to manually find the right balancing point for the phone. There are two places that one has to adjust — balance adjustment knob and where the phone sits in position in the clamp. I have an iPhone 6 and there was a gap of 3-4mm on the right side of the phone when in the clamp. Once the phone is level, turn it on and voila!You need to download the DJI Go app and set up an account which will ask for access to your photos and microphone on the phone. The Osmo mobile connects to your phone via bluetooth. The sync via bluetooth is simple and uncomplicated. Turn on the Osmo mobile then launch the DJI Go app and your up and running.The joystick allows you the pan left, right, up, and down. Photo button is larger than the video button so there’s good tactile feel. There's substantial lag between when the photo and video buttons are pressed before phone camera/video takes the picture/video. There’s a trigger on the opposite side which allows different functions:hold trigger — stays in current position regardless of handle movement2 tap — center’s phone3 tap — switches to front camera for selfiesStabilization is amazing! Active track allows you to track an object on screen as it moves. One may need to adjust framing of the subject using the joystick. Walking or running, the videos are smooth and clean. The battery of the iPhone got depleted rather quickly. The battery for the Osmo mobile has lasted over 3hrs; would be nice to have some sort of indicator. After about 30 minutes of use, it got heavy holding with one hand. Definitely recommend using the lanyard for security.Weight:17.25oz with battery22.30 oz with phone 6 and apple leather caseAction sequences where you are moving and panning is where this really shines! For parents, this gadget would be fantastic for when your child first begins their first steps, learns to ride their bike, singing birthday parties, and sports where you can be close to the action. Thanks!Amazing bit of kit, yes there are cheaper but they simply do not have the functions this does. The motion time lapse feature is nothing short of brilliant and is what made me buy this over anything else on the market.Like all the latest tech, sometimes you have to search for solutions to issue's, if you are not willing to do so then at times you may be disappointing. If you are unfortunate enough to own an iphone, get FilMic Pro, it will solve all your woes of video issues and is worth the £9.99 or so that it costs.The 'XCSOURCE Universal Frame Mount Pro Extra Holder Accessory Part for DJI OSMO Handheld 4K Gimbal Camera RC444' is a must buy for motion time lapse to fix the Osmo to a 3 way tripod head.Although it is an amazing piece of technology (on the paper) this product is hopeless:1. You will never manage to get it on level as simply in the street you don't know where to put it on. Nothing is straight not flat in the street;2. For the way it is designed, you will struggle to carry it around without risking to damage it;3. It doesn't bare the wind, so forget about using it outside a car window or similar situations.4. The joystick is useless. The true force of these toys is when you can operate by moving around. It does this but it's very slow responding on the pans.5. If you mount it on the stick, you won't be able to use it unless you have 3 hands.There are much better products out there. DJI is only a good brand on the professional end. Hopeless on the cheap consumer products lilke this instead.Arrived when expected.I had originally ordered the £99 (now £115) Chinese Zhiyun Smooth-Q 3-Axis gimble. When it arrived it had obviously been used before and the software really wasn't much good, so back it went.The Osmo on the other hand was well packaged, slightly heavier, which actually helps when fiming.The software was comprehensive and intuative.The only downside was I found it quite difficult to set the balance on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4Makes my 4k vids look stunning and at the sale price of £129, a bargain!.....no regrets.I had to put a piece of tape over the sensor so it would recognise my phone when in place !It didn’t like my black iPhone !It’s had very use as it was bought for a trip to Italy coming up very soon !It does struggle a little to connect to the Bluetooth? Have no idea why ? But with persistence it does connect!I’ll give a proper review when I’m back from my trip ( covid allowing)
