I've only been using it for a week, but I thought I'd post my initial impressions since currently there are so no detailed reviews. I took a chance on it because I have a Piel duffel bag that is a very solid, well-stitched piece of quality leather that has lasted for years and only gotten better with age. I wasn't disappointed when I first opened the billfold, but it was a bit lighter and thinner than I expected. However, I suppose this will make it more comfortable to carry. The leather seems good quality and the stitching is tight. The description (at the time) was sparse and I couldn't tell much about the ID window. I had hoped it was the removable type that opens up with two clear windows, but it isn't. There is only one flip-up window and it is stitched to the top seam of the wallet. Also, the clear vinyl is a solid sheet- there's no hole in the center to ease the removal of an inserted ID card. Flipping open the ID flap reveals one card slot on the left side of the wallet. The slit is very high and you could slip a card down until it's completely hidden. This might be a good place for your medical insurance card (if you're fortunate enough to have one) or something similar that you must carry but rarely need to pull out. On the opposite side, there are three typical card slots. My one complaint is how tight the slots are. They will likely stretch over time, but initially, I could only get one card in each slot-- and even that wasn't easy. However, getting my bank card in and out of the lowest slot has gotten easier in only the few days that I've been using it- so I think it will be just right given a little time. Finally, it has the typical pocket areas under the card slots on both sides where you can slip cards or cash out of sight and the bill section does have a divider made of fabric with a leather strip stitched along the top.It's a pretty basic wallet- clean and simple layout with no frills. The leather is smooth without even a stamped logo. Overall, I'm pleased with it and intend to keep using it. However, I wish I had taken the time to give it a couple rubdowns with leather conditioner before I transferred all my stuff into it. Actually, I think I'll take the first opportunity to empty it out and do that still. Just need to allow plenty of time for it to soak up the lotion and the surface to dry so your pants don't draw in the conditioner. I use Leather Honey to treat my stuff, but there are many, many other types and brands. Taking the time to keep leather clean and well conditioned makes such a difference in both its lifespan and appearance- well worth the effort.I hope these details are helpful.
