I bought these in both colors, so here’s my review after wearing each pair once....Functionality: I bought these pants for two reasons: the silicone leg grippies, and the thigh pockets. If you are in a slick leather saddle, the silicone grippies might help keep you seated a little but you will definitely not be "stuck" to your seat--which you might like. I bought these in red and in gray. One pair, my iPhone XS (with a case on it) stayed in my pocket just fine. Other pair, it wiggled out and hit the ground the first time I put the horse in a canter.Fit: These pants are fitted but not particularly compressive. The pictures give the impression that the pants are compressive but they’re not. Definitely soft and comfortable. Waist band is super comfy. If you don’t have an especially fit lower body, you might want to avoid the gray. Not see-thru at all, but you know how light colors don’t do us any good in the way of smoothing/contouring. Or just wear a longer shirt. The red ones look great tho.True to size!And these are not cold weather tights. It’s 90s and humid here right now, and these are perfect. I think they’d also do well in 60s-70s.
